V0.2.0 is our first major update of 2026. Battles have had some new changes including the following held items: Exp. Share, Exp. All, and Amulet Coin. Poké Balls now have accuracy checks, making other balls valuable. Multiple Pokémon can receive experience if they participate in battle. Pokémon center pages have been consolidated to one page. Achievements have been added. Lastly, the blog is now live!
There are now achievements for completing your Pokédex in the game. Some of the rewards are Amulet Coin, Exp. All, Exp. Share, and the new Gemstone Extractor. They require 50, 100, 200, and 300 unique species caught, respectively. These new items and toggleable effects aim to make training Pokémon a little more worthwhile.
The Amulet Coin, when held by a Pokémon, doubles the amount of Poké Dollars you receive. Exp. All is a toggleable effect that allows you to share experience with all party members. Similarly, Exp. Share allows you to share experience with one Pokémon. The new Gemstone Extractor will find gemstones after defeating and catching wild Pokémon.
The battle system now checks for Poke Ball success rates, so now you must weaken Pokémon before throwing a Poké Ball to increase your chances of catching it. If the Pokémon escapes, it will attack you that turn! False Swipe now works as intended to ensure the opposing Pokémon doesn’t faint. Opposing Pokemon will now get a free turn when you switch Pokémon or throw a Poke Ball and it escapes.
There used to be multiple pages for managing your Pokémon. You can now manage them all in one place including evolution, equipping items, updating moves, and prestige auras. The goal is to limit the amount of time it takes navigating through multiple pages.
The blog is now live! I will be using it to share game updates and wiki-like content. Some new roles have been added to the Discord server like Poké Maniac and Bug Catcher. Finally, I’ve updated the menu for easier navigation.
