Version 0.3.0 Update (Valentine’s Day, Trading, and Forums. Oh, my!)

Where to begin!? This major update introduces Meowth’s Matchmaking minigame, the forums, and trading.

Meowth’s Matchmaking minigame is a limited-time event where you help Meowth set up Pokémon dates in exchange for Matchmaking Tokens. There is a special shop with items and Pokémon available for a limited time only! Meowth offers three levels of difficulty for tasks, Easy, Medium, and Hard. Easy tasks only require a Pokémon of level 5, and of common rarity. Medium tasks require a Pokémon of level 25 and of uncommon rarity. Hard tasks require a Pokémon of level 50 and of rare rarity. Each has a reward of 5, 25, and 50 Matchmaking Tokens, respectively.

Forums are an integral part of all Pokémon browser games, and there’s no need to create a separate account like on other Pokémon RPGs. So just head on over and you’ll be able to create threads and post replies without any additional setup. Your avatar will carry over. Please conduct yourself in a respectful manner and keep in mind that this game and website is family friendly. People of all ages and walks of life play this game and any intolerance will not be tolerated. Forum misconduct can result in forum privileges being removed, and in severe cases, your game account banned as well.

Trading is such a huge part of the Pokémon experience, with some Pokémon only able to evolve after trading. Not only are you able to trade Pokémon, but you can also trade gemstones, currencies, and items. Trading is very simple. First, find a partner to trade with, either on the forums or Discord. Second, enter their trainer ID in the text field over in the Trade Hub. Third, select from your Pokémon, gemstones, currencies, and items what you want to trade. Likewise, select what you want from the other player. Last, click Create Trade and wait (patiently) for the other player to accept your trade. Trades expire after 24 hours.

Sheesh, that’s a lot of Pokémon! For your own security when trading, please set up your trades on the forums. This is the only place where we can monitor and reverse trades if you and your partner agree to a touch trade. A touch trade is when you intend to return a Pokémon to your trading partner after it’s added to yours or their Pokédex or after it’s able to evolve. For Pokémon that evolve holding an item, that item will be consumed upon trading, and that Pokémon will then be able to evolve. Any other items held by a Pokémon will be returned to their original owner upon accepting a trade. This is to prevent bait-and-switch trades when someone promises to send you an item but only if it’s held. ONLY trade non-evolution items using the appropriate trading mechanism.

Creating multiple accounts is against the rules, and if you are caught creating multiple accounts to collect special event Pokémon, you risk having your account banned and/or the Pokémon being removed from your account.

Please enjoy the new minigame, forums, and trading!
