Happy St. Patrick's Day! There's been a new event quest added. It is shorter and a bit different than all of our past events. This time, completing the quest unlocks the ability to find Pokémon on the maps for a short while. In this case, Sunday, March 22 at 11:59 PM game time is the ending time. The Unlucky Spotter might show as disabled in the Achievements upgrades, but it will work regardless.
Going forward, event Pokémon will be unbreedable for a certain amount of time. There are a couple of reasons for this. Regardless of the sprite form, the Pokémon species is all that matters for Pokédex entries. Since all Pokémon are planned to be in the game in their non-Paradise form, we want to put more emphasis on the special sprite forms until the normal forms are released.
Meowth's Matchmaking Minigame will end on March 31, so be sure to collect anything you're missing or stock up on some trading value before it ends!
Patch notes:
- Trading history is now viewable.
- Fixed a display issue with showing your name on the received trades list.
- Pokémon Rankings now only show the top 50 Pokémon. Search will still work, and it will also only show the top 50 that match the search. It was causing unnecessary lag. There will be a separate update in the future with a rarity list.
